Is vaping legal in Dubai and the UAE?

What does ESMA-approved mean?
ESMA (the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology) certifies which vaping products meet UAE safety and quality standards. Only ESMA-registered products can legally be sold in the UAE. Read more on our What Is ESMA? page.
Can I bring my own vape or e-liquid into the UAE?
Travellers may generally bring a personal-use vape device and a reasonable quantity of e-liquid for personal consumption, but importing vape products for resale without ESMA registration is not permitted. If you’re unsure about a specific product, ask our team before you travel.
How do I know a product is authentic and not counterfeit?
Every product sold at Emirate Vape Shop is sourced directly from authorised distributors, not grey-market importers. We check batch codes and packaging against manufacturer specifications before stock goes on our shelves or is dispatched for delivery.

Do you sell to anyone under 18?
No. UAE law requires all vaping product sales to be restricted to adults aged 18 and over, and we verify age both in-store and at delivery without exception.
What payment methods do you accept?

Can I return a product if it’s faulty?
Yes, faulty devices are covered under our Refunds & Returns Policy. Due to hygiene regulations, opened e-liquids and used disposables cannot be returned unless faulty.
